Merry Christmas Everyone!

So I was suppose to have my blog updated before I sent out my Christmas cards but no such luck. I know it's been a while when I am told by many that I need to update my blog. Life's been crazy and that's just how I like it!! Over the past year we have been very blessed and have had a lot of fun as a family. We purchased a camp trailer at the beginning of the summer. Unfortunately nobody would know that because out of the 5 camping trips I always forgot the camera. While on our camping trips we fished, floated the river (that was kinda scary with little ones),roasted marshmallows/hot dogs, went swimming and had many laughs when attempting to go to sleep. Brandon this year has been working for Family Care Center for 6 years now and was made the Director of Counseling. I am very proud of him. We are looking forward to the next couple of weeks with no school, no work and Christmas!! YES!! We wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!! Love The Houk Family

TaY and KaY

TAYLOR is 8 turning 9 in February!! I really can't believe I am old enough for a 9 year old. Taylor is very strong and very athletic. She is in competitive cheerleading and last week her team receive 1st place!! She loves to read, make up cheer/dance routines with who ever is willing, and also likes to write stories and songs. You should see her back tuck!!
KAYLEE is 6 1/2 years old. She is a very sweet and loving little girl. She too is in competitive cheerleading and almost has her back handspring. Her little team received 4th place last week. Kaylee loves animals, playing with Davis and Taylor, loves to sing, color and dress up our poor little dog Molly.
Best of all Taylor, Kaylee and Davis are the greatest of friends!!

DaViS 3 YeArS oLd

Davis turned 3 years old in September and just makes us laugh. He is such a sweet boy. He loves to go, go, go!! I have no idea where he gets it from? He loves to go to gymnastic class and soon will go to preschool in January. Davis loves about everything. His favorite things are Super Hero's, trains, his cousin Averee (even when she's the boss), special play dates with Grandma and Grandpa, playing with his sister's and going to work with Mom and Dad. He especially likes Dad's office because he has games and toys. Davis is a big 3 year old. He wears 5T shirts and 4T pants! We love him to pieces.

TAG 7 Weird/Random Things

Here is how it works, List 7 weird/random things about yourself and then TAG 7 others ( you are listed at the end)!Here goes 7 weird/random facts about me.

1. I like to go like crazy!! If I can do 5 things in a day... why not try 15?

2. I have a lot of job descriptions....Mother, Wife, Sister, Daughter, Friend, Housekeeper, Cook, Relief Society Counselor, Cheer & Gymnastics Coach, Dental Assisting Instructor and my newest job description "Billing Manager" at Brandon's work (I get to do this one at home) all of which I am very blessed to do!! Yeah, yeah I know you all are not surprised!!

3. I don't like it when people chew with their mouths open!! Or even chew their gum that way too!

4. I hate it when I write someone a check and they take more than 2 weeks to deposit it.

5. I have a goal to do a back handspring by April 2009. I haven't done one since I started having C-sections. I think I'm afraid my insides will rip open.

6. I will pass out when someone is injured in front of me and blood is involved. I can usually help the injured person first. Then once things are okay my body goes into shock! Funny thing is I have had no problem assisting dentist in oral surgery and have seen nasty abscess infections that don't only bleed!! Let's just leave it at that!!

7. After reading the Twilight series I had to read the 1st book Twilight again before I go see the movie Friday. I am so excited!! Though I have to admit "my Edward" was much hotter!!

7 STITCHES FOR DAVIS

Poor Davis was messing around in the tub last

night. He decided to do a seat drop in the tub

and caught his chin on the side of the tub. Ofcourse

this happened at 8:20pm when all the after hour

facilities are closed! So we ended up in the E.R.

Davis did great!! This is him watching T.V. waiting

for the numbing gel to do it's magic.

KAYLEE LOST HER 1ST TOOTH

YEAH!! Kaylee lost her 1st tooth! Kaylee was the only

one in her 1st grade class that had not lost a tooth!! But

not anymore!! She received a whole dollar from the toothfairy.

I was tagged! You go to your fifth folder and take your fifth picture and then tag five people. I think this is pretty fun. This picture was taken in May of this year. Davis was playing at one of Idaho Falls new parks. Its crazy how fast time goes. I want summer back!! Now I tag: Joni, Natalie, Shelly, Paige, and Tara. Apparently we took too many family pictures the other day. Or I guess maybe they had a lot of fun. So they sneaked my camera and played family picture day!!

OH NO SNOW ALREADY!!!

The kids were so excited to see snow! I on the other hand am not!!! Once we got home from church today the kids took off their church clothes and swapped them out for snow clothes. The had a blast!!
